I just teaching a preschool level class, like every
other day, but today when I turned around to take a little girl for a kick on
her front, I just saw the oddest little
hair salon in the world.
One of the other girls in the class has decided that
she doesn't like one of the boy’s hair. She complains that it is “too long” and
it’s “going all over his face” and it “does NOT look good”.
Like most little girls at this knowledgeable age of
five do, she decided to take matters into her own hands and fix it.
So, when I turned around all I can see is this girl
rubbing her hands over this poor boy’s head, pushing it with her hands over to
one side. After a few seconds, she sits down, nods, and says “yes, much
better”, like the stubborn little child she is.
The boy now has an unfortunate looking old man comb
over.
